Monroe County Habitat for Humanity

HELPING OUR COMMUNITY

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Monroe County Habitat for Humanity’s main focus for 2023 is Home Preservation. This program allows homeowners who are affected by low income, old age or disability to make necessary repairs on their homes. When these critical repairs are not made, homes can potentially become condemned. There is a great need for these types of repairs in our county.

“I love working for MCHFH because we aim to empower people to be able to reach their potentials with a hand up, not a hand out. It is wonderful to think that after we partner with our neighbors they are potentially more self-sufficient for the rest of their lives!”
